Why I made it
Desert and caudex plants rot in standard potting soil. They need a substrate that drains hard and dries on a predictable schedule — and in Zone 6, that has to hold up through real temperature swings. Desert Oasis Potting Media is the fast-draining inorganic mix I developed for exactly that. It's what I pot my own Adenium, Plumeria, and Pachypodium into.
How I use it
I use it for potting on seedlings once they're up and growing, and for repotting established caudex plants. If you're starting seed, this is the mix your seedlings move into after germination — it pairs with every seed line in the shop.
